You simply cannot miss the bustling Thamel district, known for its wide range of restaurants serving local specialities, as well as its numerous little shops where you can buy souvenirs and put your bargaining skills to the test. We’ll also visit the Monkey Temple, which offers a breathtaking view of The Kathmandu Valley.
Pokhara’s Paradise Valley: An Oasis of Peace
Next, we’ll head to the idyllic Pokhara Valley, a charming town set against the backdrop of the Himalayas. Pokhara is the perfect place to relax and explore further. You’ll be enchanted by Devi’s Waterfall, the picturesque Lake Fewa, and the Bindabasani Temple. The panoramic view of the Himalayas from Sarangkot Hill will provide an additional treat. On our return to Kathmandu, we’ll set off on a short trek to Nagarkot, where you’ll be able to admire the beautiful views of the surrounding mountains.
