Dr Robert Szymczak, PhD, is a doctor of medicine, a specialist in emergency medicine and an expert in high-altitude and expedition medicine, who has been working with mountaineers, Himalayan climbers and participants in high-altitude expeditions for many years.

He combines clinical practice with real-world mountaineering experience. He has taken part in numerous expeditions as a doctor and mountaineer, including national winter expeditions to Broad Peak and Nanga Parbat. He has summited three eight-thousanders: Mount Everest (8,848 m), Dhaulagiri (8,167 m) and Nanga Parbat (8,125 m)

On a day-to-day basis, he is responsible for medical assessments for expeditions, acclimatisation planning, the prevention of altitude-related illnesses, and providing telemedical support to expedition participants – even in places where conventional medical care is unavailable.
He’s a doctor who knows the mountains inside out: he knows what fatigue, altitude sickness, the cold, dehydration and decisions made far from civilisation look like.

He is highly regarded for his composure, excellent manners and his friendly and professional approach to participants. With his calm demeanour and positive attitude, he creates an atmosphere of safety and trust on every trip.

He specialises in trekking expeditions and ascents of six-thousand-metre peaks, having gained extensive experience during numerous expeditions in the Himalayas.

He holds a trekking guide licence and has completed training in first aid, the basics of mountain rescue and rock climbing. He is highly regarded for his calm demeanour, dedication and responsible approach to the safety of participants. Chongba also stands out for his strong desire to develop, his professional approach to his work and the genuine, warm atmosphere he brings to the expeditions.

An experienced climber and guide, specialising primarily in expeditions and ascents of high-altitude peaks. Within the Meroway team, he works primarily as a climber, helping ambitious Himalayan enthusiasts to fulfil their dreams of conquering the highest mountains.

Strong, experienced, supports mainly expeditions to trekking peaks and higher mountains. Huge experience, having been on several eight-thousand metre peaks. Although he holds a guide's licence, at Meroway he primarily supports 6000+ expeditions working as a high altitude climber helping Participants climb mountain peaks.

Purna is a mountain guide with several years of experience. She accompanies our clients mainly on trekking routes. In addition to her work as a guide and climber, she is also a keen runner and runs mountain marathons.

An experienced high-altitude guide and climber from Solokhumbu – the heart of Sherpa country. Achievements:

Chhiring specialises in expeditions to peaks over 6,000 and 7,000 metres, combining technical expertise with a deep understanding of Himalayan conditions. His calm demeanour, professionalism and concern for the safety of participants mean he is highly regarded by both his team and his clients.

In his private life, he is a husband and father for whom the mountains are not just a profession, but a way of life passed down from generation to generation.

Joyful and experienced. He has climbed the highest number of high mountains in the team, including Mount Everest five times. He specialises mainly in trekking summit climbs and expeditions.

Born in 1992, he is a licensed city guide specialising in uncovering the mysteries of the Kathmandu Valley and Pokhara. He has had the pleasure of sharing his knowledge with hundreds of travellers to Nepal.
