You’ll trek through colourful rhododendron and bamboo forests, with extraordinary mountain peaks – including two eight-thousanders: Annapurna (8,091 m) and Dhaulagiri (8,167 m). Upon reaching our destination at Poon Hill (3,210 m), we’ll be able to admire not only the panoramic mountain views but also the stunning terraced rice fields. The variety of views makes this region a real gem for anyone who appreciates beautiful, unique travel photographs. We’ll then head towards the charming village of Ghandruk, home to the Gurung people. They are an incredibly hospitable people, and you’ll also learn about their culture and traditions at the local museum. We’ll continue our trek through rhododendron forests, which in spring delight with a riot of colour, blooming in various shades of red and pink. We’ll then head downhill to Birethanti. Passing by waterfalls, we’ll walk through several small villages and hamlets. Finally, we’ll reach Nayapul, from where we’ll return to Pokhara, which we’ll also explore. It is a charming and picturesque holiday resort with its own unique character.
