The Khumbu region is not just about Everest. It is about the vastness, the altitude, the rhythm of the walk, the scent of juniper burning near the monasteries, and the sound of the Dudh Koshi River, which accompanies us during the first few days of the trek. It is the people \u2013 the Sherpas \u2013 who have lived in the shadow of the world\u2019s highest mountains for generations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This itinerary has been carefully planned. It has been designed not only to take you to Everest Base Camp (5,364 m), but also to allow you to experience the Himalayas even more fully; that is why we are also taking you to Ama Dablam Base Camp (4,600 m) \u2013 a place that is less frequently visited, quieter and more rugged.
