Simultaneously, it is the highest summit of Nepal, allowed by the authorities to the trekking expeditions. It is situated at the edge of the famous Khumbu region, dominated by Mount Everest. During this trip we will take you to the land of 8-thousanders. From Mera Peak you will see a part of them: Kanchenjunga, Makalu, Lhotse and Cho Oyu.
We will begin our mountain adventure with a flight from Kathmandu to Lukla (2800 m), surrounded by magic scenery of the Himalayan massifs. From there we will set out to our destination, and a road leads through the desolated and wide Hinku and Hongu Valleys. It is a great opportunity to convince yourself what really means a term “wildlife”.
Mera Peak is very demanding in terms of the physical condition, so it is necessary to have a good condition training, mainly due to a high altitude above sea level. While technically it makes greater difficulties so you do not need to have bigger climbing abilities; a slope rarely is greater than 40°.
A good acclimatisation is a key to a success in the high-mountain conditions. A route proposed by us was arranged in the way as to provide you with the best possible preparation; the following altitudes we reach gradually in order to successfully realise a final approach to the top.
During a proposed expedition you will also find time to acknowledge an unusual capital of Nepal – Kathmandu. You will do a sightseeing tour of, among others, the Hindu Pashupatinath Temple, the
Buddhist Boudhanath sanctuary or the central royal plaza – Durbar Square. All those objects were inscribed the UNESCO’s World Heritage List. There will be enough time to relax in the tourist district – Thamel, where in the hundreds of the streets, stalls, cafes you will feel a unique atmosphere of this royal town.

NOTE: many climbers ask if we reach specifically Mera Peak during this expedition. Taking care for your safety we have decided on Mera Central with a height of 6461m. Due to large cracks and glacial changes on the route to Mera North, climbing there would be too risky.
