Offer Description

The Chitwan National Park is situated in the southern part of Nepal, at a distance of 140 km from Kathmandu. It lies on the total area of 932 square km of the subtropical terrain which comprises beautiful, green rain forests, river terrains and infields. It is one of the most diversified natural areas in Nepal. In the park one can meet many wide animals such as: a royal Bengalese tiger, rhinoceros, crocodiles, Indian elephants, bears and popular in this region leopards. A park is a habitat of 500 bird species, both those who inhabit this area permanently, as well as migratory ones. It is, in our opinion, a mandatory point of the programme for all lovers of the flora and fauna. The Chitwan has also the largest in Asia elephant breeding centre, where one can meet also their numerous baby elephants.

During this travel you will visit an exotic capital of Nepal, Katmandu. There is a lot of unusual places there, with a rich history and a unique architecture, as for instance, main town plaza – the Durbar Square, the largest in Nepal Hindu Pashupatinath Temple and the beautiful Boudhanath sanctuary – with the Buddhist stupa which is the most famous in the world. All those objects were inscribed on the UNESCO’s World Heritage List. Your legs will also carry You to the exceptional, noisy town district – Thamel, where you will have a chance to try local meals in one of the numerous cafes or restaurants and buy souvenirs, at the same occasion gaining an opportunity in the valuable art of bargaining with the vendors.

We will also visit the Monkey Temple, from which there is a charming view on the Kathmandu Valley.
